In that location are picayune particles floating around in my water filtered by Brita. I followed all instructions from Brita but go on getting little particles in the h2o. I don't care what Brita says those particles are, and who knows if they are contaminated with anything. I thought I would get clean water with Brita. I'll go back to using tap water, no particles floating in that.

Hi. No...you need to soak the filter for about 30 minutes, so fill the pitcher (filter the water through). Once it'southward full, dump out the h2o and echo. Once or twice through commonly takes care of the black particles. The particles aren't danerous (I call back it's carbon)...just try to brand sure they aren't getting into the drinking h2o/ the pitcher.

Sometimes the black carbon particles come up out of the filter. They don't go into the water and are caused by aircraft and throwing around the box. These particles are harmless, and sometimes yous will have a filter that doesn't do this as much. I was concerned, so I called Brita, which you can do as well.

why are there black spots on the white surface area inside of bullpen?

I have picayune blackness dots in the upper portion. They seem to stay there and don't harm anything. I really don't know if they-re supposed to be there. I launder them out and they reappear merely just a few.

There shouldn't exist any in like the master bullpen, merely is fine if they are in the peak filter surface area - I nevertheless get some carbon flakes in the pinnacle of my filter, only it shouldn't matter that much.

hi lynn,k ..as long as its not into the filtered water its ok. they are tiny carbon pieces that filter the h2o.
